That's excellent! Thank you for posting that, I just bought a bunch more ribbon & was trying to figure out the best way to organize it.

Just a thought to help with the cracking when using a drill, since plastic can be hard. Two things, first use a very small bit, then gradually increase the bit size, until you reach the size you want, number two, (it may leave tape residue) tape the area with something thicker, like duck tape, drill, then remove tape. It gives it a little more strength. I haven't made one, but thought for those who are going to try, you may want these ideas too.

I think I already commented on this, but I loved the idea! I kind of took a play on it & bought 3 storage containers from Target with holes already on each side. They were just the right size so that I could squeeze a 3/8 inch dowel between them & didn't need to drill any holes. You could still pull the ribbon out the holes if you want, but that was the only part I didn't really like, so I just leave them on the dowel. It works great & the containers stack & will be super easy to transport. I'll have to post a pic later.

Thanks for the link! I acutally already keep my ribbon in a plastic bin like that so I don't even have to buy any materials, just get my husband to drill!
