We're making progress!
Or I am I should say-haha! I've been moving slower than I'd like only because cable/internet is being hooked up on Friday, so I'm trying to move what I may not need too often until I'm completely down there!
1. Overview of room 2. I bought these POS pantry racks from LTD last week. They have hooks to hook them vertically, but they are so bent it wouldn't have worked that way. I bought 2 of them thinking I would use one in the pantry and one in my room, but I ended up just using 1/2 of one in the pantry even though I could use it in this room! They worked out really well once I got them in the wall. My UB size ribbon spools won't fit in there, but I don't really have room anyway  They are wide enough that for some of the spools I had extras of, I was able to put those in back to make more room. They came white but I spray painted them black, however I should have left them because they really weren't meant for painting! And, it's farther than I really wanted from where I'll be, but I figured maybe that'll keep me more organized to have to go get them that way.I made the valance yesterday-could have made it ruffle just a bit more, but I only bought 2 yards and I wanted to make some basket covers too 3. I thought I would try this for my flower heads-I was using my dd's toy rack, but....it didn't match anymore 4. This is where my sewing machines/computer/etc. will go when I bring them down. The big black shelf we used to have under our TV upstairs, but we couldn't hide the wires with it and DH thought the TV looked too small, so I got the TV and the shelf The baskets are covered with what was left over from the valance. Can you find the note I left for you all?!

#1: my cubby unit standing-I need to go back to Ikea to get some more totes. #2: This closet space will be nice! I also bought an over the door ironing board so I didn't have to drag one out every time. I hope it's big enough for anything I need it for-and sturdy enough without any support on the bottom! I've neglected this side of the room a little bit

 I love how large it is I wish mine was that big  I love the fabric you chose for the basket covers and valance...goes nicely with the room. keep posting pics until it is complete -Majd

Holly WOW! I am so jealous! We are planning on moving this fall and one of the main things on my list is an extra room/office/work space for me. Right now, I sit on the floor in our family room and it kills my back!
