It looks awesome! We are just in the drywall stage of my workroom, so this is giving me some ideas. I few questions, is this in your basement? If so, you did wood floors or vinyl? We are debating it right now. Everyone has told us not to do wood in case of a flood, but we are on 15' of sand and it'll never flood here. Also, where did you get the cube thingy? ikea? What do you plan with the rest of the room? As of right now, my plan is to have cabinets/counters around most of the room and my work table in the middle (I mainly sew, so I need space). Are you planning on cabinets at all? Thanks!

Yep! It's from wallies...just sticks right on. It's 4 different pieces so instead of putting them all together I kept a little space for something different

This is the basement-this house is only 5 years old, but there hasn't been any problems with flooding and there have been at least 2 major storms within the last year where if there would be a problem with it, we would have known. I just thought wood floors would be easier to sweep up. Heck, if it does flood the carpet would probably smell which would drive me just as crazy, so I'm not worried about it

All of my furniture is from Ikea.

I have so much closet/storage space that I'm using that to "hide" things such as my table that I use to pkg everything up on. I put that in the closet by the TV and it still has plenty of storage room and space for me to get back to the storage. I am just getting into sewing so I don't need a ton of room yet, but I have room on the other side of the room if I wanted to ever add anything. Right now though I'll just add pictures or something so it doesnt look so bare.

My original plan was to put a cabinet in the cut out of the wall where my cube system is, but I knew that would fit perfectly right there, so I figured I'd save some money and just put that there, but I can always rearrange and do that in the future if I need more counter space. Since I have so much storage though in the cube system, etc., the top of my work desk SHOULD be pretty clean so I'll have a good space to work on for that.

I soooo want to finish my basement now!

I think tho I would do heated tile in my basement... then in winter I can turn it up and in summer turn it down LOL and I wouldnt need to worry about it flooding
