I KNOW I've seen this somewhere. I SWEAR I printed it out. I'm losing my mind.

Can someone help me?????

Somewhere, I'm not sure if it was here, someone posted directions of how to make a "nice" wooden spool organizer. They wrote about needing to use metal rods (aluminum, maybe) rather than PVC or wood. THey stained the wood frame so it looked nice in teh house.

Anyone? Anyone? I'm just dying to give my husband a project. LOL

I seem something similar to that idea in the last issue of Family Fun magazine (I think). They made a thing for wrapping papers.

I tried to find it but I can't. I remember seeing pictures of it being in the window seat area fo someone's dining room? Does that sound right?? It was really neat! If I come across it, I will let you know.

Is this it?

A Flight of Fancy: Cutting Mat, Ribbon Spool Organizer

That one currently holds the smaller spools, but I think it would hold 3 rows of the 100 yd spools. The holes would just have to be drilled a bit further apart.

Take a pic when he's done, we'd love to see it!

Have you tried Home Depot? I would think that they carry it.

Jen- We didn't find any at Home Depot today. But...we didn't ask. After all, a man should be able to find everything he needs. If he can't find it, they probably don't have it. RIGHT?

ROFL. Sounds just like my husband. We have to walk around for more than half hour before he would even consider asking someone.
