I have toyed with the idea of getting these:

20pc Standard Kit - great for shoes & More (20 pcs) Neat Containers!

But I don't know anyone who has used them and free boxes are cheap!
Those look neat. I couldn't find the price. They remind me of corsage containers.

Well, I think that's absurd, lol! I put the starter shoe kit in a shopping cart to see how much it was and it was 66.99 for a 30 piece set. I think I have seen these on HSN or QVC. I'll check them out and let you know. (I will stick to food boxes for right now.)

there's the other link to HSN, you can see reviews of the product there. I like the concept, but for me at this time, it is too pricey.

Now I have them sorted by colors, all the popular colors I use the most in one box, and all the other colors in another. I even took it a step further and put all the school colors ribbon in it's own box (woohoo blue and gold! ) so when I get a order for school colors I just pull the box out and get to work.
My plan is to eventually get a bunch of the plastic containers with snap on lids (100+yr old house = LOTS of dust!)
I have some tupperware type boxes that have snap on lids with handles. I got the big ones from the Dollar Genereal for $4 each. I store my ribbon by size. All solid color 1 1/2" together, all printed 1 1/2" together, etc. I store it all in my kitchen (ugh) on a big 6 ft tall, 4 ft wide restaurant type metal shelfing system I got from target. I will have to take a pic for y'all. Need to clean it up first though. LOL!

Anyways -- I LOVE these containers. They are the best investment I have made!!
