Default organizing small pieces?

How do you organize your small pieces of ribbon? I have some that are about 12" or less that I save for center knots and lining clippies. How do you store pieces like this? They're too small to wind up IMO so I'm looking for ideas. Thought about doing some sort of doodad like those ribbon cards, but not sure.

Not too organized, but I just have a scrap box, where I put the ribbon at the end of rolls, or anything that I have left over that can be used in some way.

you could use something like this:

Ribbon Ring-the perfect ribbon storage solution!

however I agree w/ the others, it's easier just to have a scrap box. . .like one of those steralite shoe boxes at the dollar store, or like a clear pencil box. . .hth!

yeah, this is what I was talking about trying to make. Maybe I'll just do a scrap book. Maybe small boxes sorted by color will make it easier to sort through. thanks

I have to keep mine with another roll of the same ribbon or a color that I would use it with. Otherwise, I forget about it and never use it. I usually stick the scrap with the spool of similar ribbon together in a baggie. If it is a 3/8" print, I have a box of those scraps to use for clippies.

hehe...don't you love (hate) when us crafty people get a new idea...I have so many things on my want to do list it's unreal. LOL

I decided what to do with them. I bought 2 of those plastic craft organizers at Walmart yesterday. reg. $5.50 and on clearance for $3. So I went back and they had 4 more..so I bought them all. I put my scraps seperated by colors into 2 of them. Most of them fit in one and the others filled up 1/2 of the second one.
This isn't the one, but just for example...it's this type box. ACMoore.com-Arts and Crafts
My walmart is doing a re-model so they have a lot on clearance. Glad I scored these. It's making my organizing very easy!
