if any of you have the stampin up word punch, you could so totally make this! you could even use cardboard from like cereal boxes and make your own "recycled" version. then the top hole you would just use a regular hold punch, right?

That's almost what I do! But I cheat and use a round tip on my wood burning tool. I just burn a quick hole near one end of the ribbon, seal both ends, & slip them on a binder ring (like a key ring, but it opens up?) Now if I can just force myself to it every time I get new ribbon!
