Default Shutting down for a while

I didn't really know where else to reach as many people as possible. And I know I haven't been on any boards in a long time.

I will wait until about noon EST then I am shutting down all of my sites and stores for a while. At least until I can handle the workload without relying on DH to do anything. He doesn't seem to care about my or my businesses reputations. DH is having communication problems (or lack of) and telling me he is shipping/communicating with people and then being too busy to actually do it, leaving me unaware there is a problem.


Any orders currently outstanding will be shipped completely by tomorrow.

I am sorry. I just can't handle this business by myself anymore. I'm also developing a tremor in my right hand. I don't think it is related to the RA, but it makes the gluing and assembly difficult.





I really love most of my customers and have gotten to recognizing people online, and have gotten to know some of you really well and adore the sense of community. I am always here to help if someone needs something (assuming I see the message and DH didn't delete it first).

Thank you for your continued support. I will try to have things sorted by next week, but if I don't...locally you can find me at shows.

Sorry to hear this Karyn.
I know I was frustrated when asking questions before and nobody could understand why because you were normally on the ball...
This explains a lot about my questions going unanswered. Its a shame that this is happening. You might be best to hire someone to do the assembly and then you can concentrate on questions, invoices and shipping ????
I know I had my little sister helping me out for a little bit and the extra help is an amazing motivator...
I hope you can get things sorted out.

I am relatively new here and you don't know me but I couldn't read this and not let you know that I completely empathize.

I don't have a business but I have very similar communication and support issues (or lack thereof) with my DH.

I hope you figure out a way to get the support you need and make your business work. And I hope your tremor goes away ... better yet that the underlying problem goes away.

I am so sorry to hear this. I really love your product. I guess i am so lucky that I have a hubby that is so supportive. He goes along with my ideas even if they are totally insane.

Have you thought about maybe a business partner? I am starting a new fabric business and am working my butt off right now so I totally understand. Sorry

Oh no, so sorry to hear that! You truly are amazing and it hurts when you don't have that support behind you. Think about hiring someone to help. I hope things get better for you!
