I agree. I would tell them that all bows in your retail space are not available at wholesale prices. I would give them an order form and color chart and let them know that they can place a wholesale order and expect them to be done within a certain time frame (maybe 1-2 weeks?)
If they still insist on buying from your retail space, just make them aware that it will not be at wholesale pricing.

min $$ first order and min $ for orders after that. just like any business.
I would make a ton extra for the bin, anymore above and beyond that is 1- regular price 2- ordered through you for a custom wholesale.

Congrats on all the business. Impulse buyers ARE THEE best. And I agree with others about stocking up, I'm in this situation that when I make new designs and I have a gut feeling they are going to sell, I make at minimum a dozen.
For this impulse buyer of yours, give her a turn-a-round time and you can even ask for money upfront. Say she comes back requesting another 50 bows that you DON'T have just yet because you have to make them, do the math and ask her for a 50% deposit, that way you can use that money to purchase the materials you need and SHE WILL be back because she has put down money already.
I've had to outsource because NOW I'm drowning and created a monster..
but these are good problems to have yanno..so congrats!

Thanks! I'm excited yet nervous...but super glad they ordered this time. And she left the colors and everything up to me, so I get to have some fun! It's a rather large order so I'm hoping I can get it all done pretty quickly (especially since I'm going to be out of town). Just waiting to order some ribbon and I'll be good to go!
