I have the Dymo system! Very happy with it, but there's definitely a learning curve. Maybe we should start a Dymo thread? There are different options available, and it is (at first) confusing.

I also get my boxes from Uline. I agree - prices aren't too bad, fast delivery, but... shipping is killer. Looking for a local source as soon as I figure out which size boxes I use the most.

Yep! As long as it is not over 13 ounces. I was mad because I had an order of cheer bows to ship today and my smallest boxes were too small, but I didn't have an in-between box. All I had to fit them in was a priority mail box that I had saved from something and it was 8 ounces and was $5.05 so it could have been a few bucks cheaper going first class.

I have the dymo label writer and LOVE it! I was buying ink from my printer at least once every 2 weeks for the amount of labels I print and have had my writer for probably 4 months or more and haven't had to buy one ink refill yet. I'm sure I've made my money back already on it and it is just so much easier. Plus, I've gone paperless so it makes me keep up on all of my order tracking because I file it all right away online rather than just stashing the papers and having 100 to go through when I get to them.

Thank you again for all of the help and input! I mailed out two orders today, and I did them first class (with boxes inside mailers), and it was SO much cheaper! You ladies are a Godsend.

And...this Dymo label thing sounds fabulous! I DESPISE printing things out from my computer, because we don't have room on the desk for the printer. I have to go into our storage room to get it off a shelf, bring it out, plug it in, and then print and put it back away. Serious pain in the rear. Having something else to do the printing sounds really cool. I'm off to google this thing and learn more!

Above is a link to a Dymo Label printer thread that I started a while back. It should answer a lot of questions you may have! HTH!

If you are buying the white swirl jewelry boxes, check out Fetpak. They are quite a bit cheaper than Uline. Fetpak has free shipping too! I sat down and figured out identical boxes plus shipping, and Fetpak came out much cheaper.

Thanks, Kelly! They have shipping supplies I use every day! I see their prices for bubble wrap and corrugated boxes are higher, but the FREE SHIPPING might even that out.

I will definitely try them!

True. The only thing I have compared was the white swirl boxes. The other thing is that the jewelry boxes at Uline don't come with the fluffy insert, if I read that correctly. You have to buy them separately. Fetpak's come with the inserts, included in the price. Once I determined the sizes that I use most, I stock up on them so that I can get a larger discount. I am glad I could help!
