I don't have a website yet. I am not sure if I want one yet. I was thinking of posting may clips on Craigslist. I have a photobucket account where people could look at my products and then order through email. Has anyone tried selling like this and does it work?

I"ve sold household items on craigslist, pick up and cash only. I was thinking of trying to sell my hairclips, but don't understand how I could work that?? Don't think I could link them to my etsy shop. I guess I could do it all through email and send a request for money through paypal right?

If you link it to your etsy shop, people will flag you for sure. I think the only way to do it would be pick up and pay cash. Once people realized that you are making them for sale, you will get flag.

There was a rule somewhere--- I was reading about it a few months ago--- something about how you could not sell things (from your business) if you are the business owner. Craigslist for more for people who want to get rid of things cheap (like a garage sale). Hope that makes sense

I have had my share of both good and bad experience on Craiglist. I know people used to flag me when I was giving my DD's used clothes away for free (for moms who need help). These people would email me about picking them up and then flag my ad, so that no one else can see it. When I found out, I was pretty annoyed.

Cute new pic by the way. Your little one is so photogenic.

That is awfully catty. To flag a posting just b/c they wanted it! Awful.

The children's store that bought some of clips posts her ad for the store 1 time a month. She doesn't get flagged for it. I have read where people are getting flagged for no reason. I don't know who it is but it seems to be the same person that everyone is talking about. I may try it one time and see what happens.

Thank you. She is actually not photogenic at all. LOL . This photo was taken by a professional photographer right before Christmas time. It's one of the 4 that turned out well in the 2 hours session we had. Yeah... that's how photogenic she really is .

I hate to say it, but paying for a professional photographer (not JC Penny or Sears, if you know what I mean) is actually worth it for someone like my daughter .

I think that if you post regularly you will get flag for it, but not if you do it once a month.

I used to check Craigslist everyday to buy toys for my DD (before our house was taken over by her toys) and I saw that if people post the same ads repeatedly then they will get flagged.
