I am thinking of opening a esty or ebay store I don't know which would be better? do you prefer one over the other and why?My store will mainly be clothing. I do alot of the little gigham overalls with the name embroidered and the little aline dresses, then the little t-shirts with the smocked insert and matching pants for girls and boy. does this kind of stuff sell? I think most thing I am going to sell are going to be around $45.00 and lower and then add shipping.

Ebay is waaay expensive, i sold $100 and with listing fees and final value fees it can to like $22 and thats not including paypal fees. Im also thinking of switching to etsy. Ive also been putting pictures of my stuff on my facebook so if my friends want some i just send them an invoice through paypal.

I think etsy is MUCH more cost friendly. Ebay just got way to expensive for me. The only thing with etsy is you will need to list or relist every day.....if you don't, you will get lost in the shuffle.

If you dont re-list your items, then they are lost in pages, meaning if you have a hairbow that you listed says 3 months ago, then it could very well be on page like 56. Nobodys wants to search through that many pages,so if you re0list often, your item will continue to stay on top,in the first few pages, which means it is more likely to be sold faster.

I'd do Etsy. Ebay has changed their policies so that the fees are ridiculous, feedback is ridiculous, and they can use your images for their database. (So anyone can use YOUR images of your unique item.)
