Our website was not that much. We used host gator and when you paid for the year, it came to something like $5 a month. I used a pre-made template from AAO and they set up the e-mals account for you and it is super, super easy - even for me who know absolutely nothing about websites. The AAO was $25 for the template and then I paid them $100 to set everything up, but I looked at it as a one-time fee. We just had 3 orders this week!

I stopped selling on ebay simply b.c the fees were outrageous!!! Etsy fees are much more reasonable. But etsy is so saturated with hairbows...I haven't checked ebay in a while. Good luck with your store!!

Thanks! The AAO people are very nice to work with and very helpful. I highly recommend them, and they have a nice assortment of templates. I appreciate you checking out our website! Our next BIG job is to re-take pictures of all our bows. I'm not happy with the way they look, and I know it's because we need to build a photo box. It's just finding the time! :-)

I sold a video game on ebay yesterday for $49 with free shipping and they charged me $7.35. I think ebay fees are outrageous. I like etsy, but too bad you can't sell games on there

Thank you everyone for sharing info about how much it costs to start a website

I went though Michelle at Polkadotdandy.com, and she was great to work with, and she has templates for as little as $5! I am hosting through Shoppepro, but haven't added any products yet. Good luck!
