That is annoying. I have tried not to use ebay, I've just been burned too many times. This past November i ordered some lighted houses for my village display during christmas, and when i opened the box i had to take it outside.
The smell of smoke was unbearable. Needless to say they were trashed. If i order anything there it has to be brand new, smoke free, and free shipping.

Did she offer confirmation? If so I would email her again and ask for confirmation. Going from the date of her email response assume it should be there in no more than 5 business days for priority and if it is not there by then, contact eBay.
I would email her again regardless and ask specific questions like when was is shipped......you have every right to be annoyed. |

It's too bad that some people give things a bad name. So far I have never been burned on ebay. I actually just listed some things for sale, including a dress. I will be shipping it one day after the auction ends and providing a tracking number. There are a few good people on there, they can just be hard to find sometimes!
![]() I definitely would be upset in your situation though.... that's not very polite as a seller, she should be ashamed of herself for not following up properly! |

Yes some people make it bad for others. Over the last 2 months I have bought and sold items and this is the only one I have had problems with. I am going to email her again to ask her when she shipped. It is just so annoying that I have to do that. I have never left a negative for anyone. Hopefully this won't be the first.

She most likely brought it to the post office and did not use pp. I will definitely ask for a confirmation.

I don't have a printer so I actually have to go to the PO every time I send something to someone but I always make sure it is sent out and give them conf. #'s. Ask her if she has a delivery conf # and you can track it to see where it is at.

And here we go . . . well I rec'd the dress today. It was mailed first class-no priority like the auction read. To make matters worse the dress is not the sz listed! It is too small for dd. It is a hanna andersson and is listed at 140 but label says 130. Grrrrrrr . . . and it has a small (crunchy) stain on the front that I swear is fresh, looks like it could wash out. Did she pack the dress while eating dinner???
I am floored.Like I said before, I have been buying and selling on ebay for years and this is my first item rec'd that is not acceptable. I emailed her but I don't expect to hear anything. I did not get a response to the other email I sent yesterday. If I don't hear from her by the end of the week I am filing with ebay. If anyone has gone through this I could use some direction. I only opened a dispute once before because of a NPB. I am not sure what happened with it as I did not get my FVF back. Person said sorry but never paid. Do I also file with PP?

I would definitely file...Make sure that you file before the deadline, 7 days I think. Also, I don't know if you used PP, but if you did, contact them too. Don't forget that now you can leave a negative feedback for a person without having to worry that they will leave retalitory(sp?) feedback.
