Oh Boy Did I Mess Up On Pay Pal.....

Sigh....... So I won this auction and as I was paying for it and clicked confirm I noticed it was paid by my moms bank account that I have on file.... NOOOOOOOOO I wanted to pay with my debit card out of MY checking account!!!! I don;t know what to do now.... It says that payments with bank accounts cant be canceled.. Now there is going to be an over draft in my moms account... What should I do???????

Try to contact the seller and tell them what happened. They can send the money back to your mom's account so you can pay with your account.

Can you take the money you were going to use & put it in your mom's account?

Thats what I was going to say as well, PP has a way for you to transfer funds, but you would have to take money out of your bank account and put it into PayPal and THEN you can transfer that into your moms account. There may be an easier way, but it's early and I haven't had my coffee... so basically my brain isn't really working at the moment

i called my bf and asked him if he can take the money out so i can deposit in my moms account, hes all uh i'll think about it.. im like wonderful! i emailed the lady but she has yet to email me back yet so i dunno.

I took my bank account off of paypal because I accidentally did something similar...but I hit the back button and changed the payment so it was coming off of my credit card. Everything looked like it went, but it's a big nono to hit the back but on paypal. It took me into overdraft. UGH...how I love paypal. NOT!!! I hope it works out for you. Hopefully the lady will stop the transaction and refund back. Good luck!!!

It usually takes about a week before an e-check(when you paid with bank account in paypal) is cleared in paypal. Maybe you can put more funds in your mom's account before it takes effect? I hope it all works out!

So i wasn't able to get to the bank till yesterday and deposited the money plus some so i can get a few things i need/want online. only to find out after I get home there is a balance of $2.00 i was like whhhhhhaaaatttt the heck. so i call the bank and they tell me there is a $35.00 over draft fee!!!!!!!! it was over drafted by $1.20!!!!!! The customer service rep told me to call back the next day and dispute it. So what do I do when i wake up this morning, call them... I'm on hold for 12mins but worth it cause i got the overdraft fee credited back to me....
but only this 1 time they will do that for me. hehehe i had to pretend to be my mom and act like its my account... luckily i know all the information.... But its cool atleast i got it taken care of....
