possible ebay dispute?

ok well i did a buy it now for a mix of padded appliques on Aug 1st 2008. I recieved an email 6 days later saying it was being sent out that day (In my honest opinion i think 6 days after any buy it now or auction is way too late to send an item)!! anyone else agree to that???

anyways (the item is coming from Austrailia) He told me it should be here 7-10 business days. Here it is the 23rd and still no item. I emailed the seller (thru ebay) but he hasnt emailed me back yet. How much longer should I wait before i decide to dispute the item? (remind me never to buy from over seas again, this is ridiculous)! AGHHHHHHH

Am I being over dramatic and just being impatient??

First, ebay sellers have 7 days to mail an item, so they are okay there. You may not like it, but that is ebay policy.

Second, the 10 business days would have been up on the 21st or 22nd (depending on when the package actually went out), so I would give it a few more days.

if I were you I would open an ebay dispute. You can officially do it after 7-10 days after payment being through. Be very polite and respectful though. It's just a way to communicate, but later on if smt bad happen you can escalate to a claim. That way you won't miss the PP dead line for a claim.

the morning of the 10th business day of not receiving the item after it was shipped, I would have opened the dispute. I don't think you are being impatient at all. Ebay allows the dispute open for 7 days or so (I think) before you get your money refunded if you don't get your stuff. It's crazy to wait a month for something and the seller shouldn't expect you to wait that long.

so its been a month now and still havent recieved anything.. i emailed him and he said he will send out another package of them. hopefully i get them this time. i was really bummed out... i dont like leaving negative feedback so i thought i would give him a chance to replace it.

You still need to open a dispute with paypal. You only have 45 days and if he "really" didn't send them...your time will run out before they get here. A dispute is different from a claim and give the seller time to fulfill before they are escalated to a claim!
