Flower instructions, anyone?

Hey! I have been crocheting on and off for a little while now, and am just trying a flower (like on the beanies). I watched the youtube lady, and wrote down her pattern, but when I tried it, it just looked like a lumpy circle. I couldn't get the petals right. I was wondering if anyone had written out a (simple!) pattern that I could use to try and figure one out? Thank you!!!!!

Thanks for those links! I will check them all out. I think I might have missed something on the youtube videos because my speakers (and headphones) aren't working on this computer? If anyone would like to post their instructions that would be great too! Thanks everyone!
