Shrink Kufi Caps?

I have someone asking if you can shrink the kufi cap by washing/drying in hot water. (They don't make them in infant size the right color.) I googled it and read a couple of places where they say it is possible. They aren't cotton, so I just figured they don't shrink. Even if they did, it probably wouldn't be enough for a 4-month old head, right? Anyone know?

I'm sorry to say I have tried this with no luck. Just a floppy big kufi.

I also have washed some just b/c my girls got their dirty. didn't shrink. there are acrylic ones and there are cotton ones, so one would think. What color are they wanting, b/c the infants ones come in lots of colors now. Otherwise, I wonder if you can buy the white infant one and dye it????

If it's cotton, wash it in hot water and dry it completely on high heat.
But it won't shrink enough for a 4 month old...what about dying a white one?

try Simlpley*Sassy*Kids on ebay.....i ordered some from them before. and i had Kufis for 0-3 month, but i had white and baby pink. i'm sure they have that color in infant size.

If they are the 100% cotton ones they will shrink if washed in hot water and dried on high heat. You can also dye the if they are 100% cotton. I could not get the color I needed so I bought cream ones and dyed them and it worked fine.

I have tired the 100% cotton and it hasn't worked for me.

What color is she needing? I have infant colors.
