i don't see why you can't try i may change the size of the hat so i would do a practice one before you take an order for one lol =) with this hat i used an M hook & the Loops & Threads acryllic yarn, i love that stuff =) you could also do with 2 or 3 strands too =)

So cute! I have a pattern for essentially the same hat, got it in the joanns free pattern section, but I dont have the right size yarn! ....need to go shopping...
