I did a small craft bazaar - considering the attendance I was pleased with my $42 in sales for bows. The tutus in the pics were made by my friend who I split the booth fee with.

The amazing part is that I made an awesome connection with 2 other ladies there and they invited me to sell my bows at their space in a 3 day event over Memorial day weekend - for FREE! (Tables there cost $350!) The expected attendance is between 80,000 - 140,000!!!

How much inventory should I be prepared with? This is by far my first major event so I'm a bit nervous!

By the way - the grid walls in the pics are part of what I bought from a bow maker who was getting out of the business (I met her in April at a consignment sale and she sold me ALL of her stuff for $200). She even gave me all of her old bows that hadn't sold. She told me she doesn't care if I sell them, but I don't want to claim them as mine so I sell them in a bargain bin - I already made $4 back of the $200 I spent

your display looks great. I love the wall is it easy to put up and take down. Can you do it alone. I am using tables right now but I would love something like that is I could put it together by myself. Good luck with your upcoming show I'm sure you will make your $200.00 back then...I mean your $196.00

I would love to have grid walls!! My only advice would be to start making everything NOW! Just make a few in each color. Don't over do it! I think with some craft shows you just never know if you will sell tons or not. It's 50/50. What you have so far looks great to me!!!

I had a daydream before my craft show that someone would go out of business and sell me all they had. How funny that that actually happened to you!
So jealous.

I think it looks fabulous! That grid was probably pretty expensive, so you probably got a great deal!!

And I think you meant you made $40 back....not $4! LOL

I love the grid walls! Can't remember if a saw a banner on your store name? Maybe that's an idea??

Good luck with your upcoming sale!!

I have a grid wall sitting in my garage that I bought for the craft show I'll do in Sept, but it's only one panel. What do you have behind yours? I have been thinking about that and am not sure if I want to make my gridwall two sided or just one sided and put something in the back of it. If I did it two sided, I was wondering if I bought some tulle or something to put along the top and down the sides to just decorate it up a little bit? I haven't even gotten it out of the box yet.

In the pics we just used white sheets behind ours. I believe that you could use both sides just fine. Once there are plenty of bows, etc. on it, I don't think you'd notice the other side very much at all because the bows would have your attention. That way you can hang twice as many! The tulle is a good idea to try! You could also make a sign (2 sided if you use both sides) to put on top. Good luck!
