How to find indoor craft fairs?

I am signed up at Events 2000 and get great emails about festivals and craft shows in my state, but I am wondering how you ladies find the smaller ones held inside. I love being outside, but I don't have a tent and don't know if I would sell enough to invest in one. I have seen mention of shows held by mothers groups, etc. How did you know about them? What about churches? My old church in Alabama did a really neat craft fair in the fall (they may have called it a holiday bazaar), but I don't know of anything like that here. Should I just start contacting churches and ask if they have them? I would like to know what's availbale so I could prepare in advance. Anybody got a better (less time-consuming)suggestion? Thanks!

Might want to look into local town papers. Usually, small towns will post ads about the upcoming events for vendors to sign up for.

That's how I find my shows- thru the paper. I have lived here for awhile now, so I know about when the next show will be and where. You can ask around too.

When looking in the paper, its usually in the What's Happening? section. Sometimes it's a little bitty paragraph too.
