That's a fabulous total!! I love the displays! It looks like you had a ton of inventory. Do you mind posting how many you made in each style bow? I'm curious how well prepared I should be for my first open house. Did you sell a lot of custom orders as well? Way to go for your first party! It looks like you're on your way to a fabulous success!

Your table top display is really nice. If I was a buyer at a craft fair - I would certainly stop and browse at your table. Maybe a nice banner across the front of the table would make your display even more beautiful. Good luck and best wishes on your business endeavor.

Wow- it looks great! I got so excied looking at it - both for you and the thought that maybe I could do something similar one day! And the cake - love the cake! Glad your obvious hard work payed off for you. And how smart are you with that clippie display! That's awesome! I would love to be invited to something like that. You now also have some really great photos to use ina brochure promoting your bow parties!

$400.00 is awesome. I'm doing my 1st craft show in June and if I made half that, I'll be happy! Way 2 go.

Thanks everyone!

We started making things in our "spare time" at the beginning of February. So, it took us about 3 months to make all of what was on the table. I can't even begin to tell you how many of each thing we had. We probably had around 100 clippies, 100 bows in various sizes (from 2-5 inches with layers), and about 30 or so headbands (crochet, lycra, cotton, woven)...we just kept making as much as we could until about 2 days before. We did have some custom orders from people who came and others who sent their wish-lists, but couldn't come that day.

We got some leads for boutiques and we already have gotten a set-up with a local hair salon for kids to sell our stuff on consignment. We'll get 60% of the retail price, so I think that's pretty fair.

Now, we're going to focus on our website and getting the orders completed that we got that day. We also have to apply for our business license and become "official" since we haven't done that yet either.

It's crazy what possibilites there are out there for this kinda thing, but there's so much to handle all at once too!
