Craft show 5/3/08

The rain blew out as fast as it blew in- but it left a HUGE mess. That didn't matter though! Everyone slipped and slided around all day- and had a blast. The turn out was less then they wanted- but there were 2 festivals in this county, a crabfish boil, a major wedding, and multiple other events. So IMO- under ALL the circumstances.. I did GREAT!

I made $120.00. There was no reason or anything as to what everyone bought. Alot of green (school colors) but assorted clippies. I handed out my buisness cards- and alot of people loved the fact that I have a website now.

Thanks! The table was $35.00. I really didn't have any extra expences for the show because I had ribbon already or used something I would of bought for the "bow buisness". I didn't spend a penney AT the show. My husband brought me a sandwich and chips, I brought drinks from home. (cuz seriously.. I can't handle eating all that food at the festival)

I forgot about the promoting part. I have always promoted outside of etsy. It allows all of my family and friends to see a showcase of everything I have available- I think that's one reason why I am at 50 sales right now. WOOHOO!

Our entire county is in a boy streak. I worry about my daughter - she always seems to be the ONLY girl around here!

I am going to start researching things for boys for craft shows- there is a HUGE hole there, yet no one can find a way to fill it.
