Would this be completely crazy?

I've been trying to figure out what to do with the money at my show tomorrow. DH was joking around telling me to use Chloe's toy cash register. But then I was thinking about it.. It has a functioning calculator and is the right size for real money. So would that be a bad idea, or would it be cute? This is what it looks like: Parents Classic Cash Register : Target

if I saw that at a show I would be amused! Does it lock? (Or maybe you should be sure no one can run off with it either! I have heard of some sad stories at shows.) Ainsley does many many shows, she would be a great resource!

I think it would be fine if you used the little register, but if you decide not to, you could always use a waitressing belt or just buy one of those small coupon filing envelopes (I think they're like 3-4 at walmart). They have sections, so you could keep your cash organized and then just have a handy old fashioned calculator.

If I do end up selling at that festival in the fall, I plan on getting one of these

My daughter has a craft apron with pockets. I just fold over the chest part of it so that it is just a waist apron and use that. I had a person rob me at a garage sale by baiting me into getting my fat 8 1/2 months pregnant a$$ up to show her something, and she went right behind me and grabbed out of the register. Yes, she robbed a pregnant lady and had her two children in the car waiting. I don't want to be distracted like that again.

I like it because if I decide to take a break and look at other people's stuff (i always enlist a partner), they won't try to make me try out their stuff, yada yada yada because they can see i am a vendor.

Ok, so my husband said we can't use it. He says it makes too much noise when the buttons are pushed. He doesn't want to annoy everyone. lol Now we have to be boring and use a apron thingy from Home Depot...

people, karma. Steal from a pg lady while her own children watch. Probably is the girl friend of the idiots that stole my purse. Corey, maybe you heard about all the break ins in Allendale on April Fool's Day? Ours was one of the more than 24 houses/vehicles/garages hit.

I have my eyeball on those too!! I am thinking apron- just because I never sit during the shows. I worry that I will get busy with someone- have my back turned and then have the cash box taken.

I just wanted to say- HOW AWFUL!!! Some people make me so sick but that's what I am talking about in my other post^^
