Default How much change to take to craft show

Someone once posted how much change/bills to take to a craft show, but I am having a hard time finding itthat thread. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I've only done shows where there's been a central cashier system in place, and I have my first one this Sat. where I have to exchange money. I purchased a cash box, apron, receipts, & calculators. Anything else you can think of? Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Depending on the size of the show we usually take $200...$150 in 5s and $50 in 1s. We have everything priced out to where we don't have to worry about coins

$50 in bigger bills ($5 & $10s) and then $50 singles. Lately I've been sticking another $50 singles in my purse, just in case but I've never had a problem running out or not being able to make change. HTH.

Thank you all so much for your advice! I really, really appreciate it more than you know! Now I have a ballpark figure of how much to take.

I also dont do coins, but I would like to add that the LAST thing you want is to not have enough change! So, definitely take enough! I brought $200.00 to my first show and was out right away. DH had to go to a ton of other vendors to get extra. It wasnt good.

I also learned that I have a lot of $3, $4 and $5 items, so I ran out of 5s, and 10s quicker than I thought. Most people will pay with $20.00 bills. So, the $5's and $10's go quick! Hope I am making sense!

Good luck!
