No Slip craft show?

Do you think I should add the no slip material to all of the simple clippies before I take the clips to the show? Do people who don't need the no slip NOT buy because it has it in there? (does this make sense?)

I am afraid that I won't have enough time to add no slips to the clips that need them during the rush of the craft show. I don't like people watching me make the bows either- so I am a little worried about applying the no slip at the show.

So- add it to all? Some? None?

wow, looking at the results of that poll - it probably didn't help you at all! lol. I find that moms of older girls don't want it.

Maybe you could have them buy them and come back and pick them up later (just tell them to do a lap or something), so that they aren't watching you put the no slip stuff on.

i would say don't add and only let them know you can and just do it upon request, kwim, hope that helps LOL and good luck deciding

Maybe you can just designate an area that HAS grip, and those that DON'T have grip. That way you have your bases covered!

I add it to ALL of mine - I wear the plain covered clips too and prefer the no slip - it stays in. Everyone that I sell to likes the no slip - my 10 yr old niece and all of her friends like the no slip. All of the mommies love them for the little girls. Who doesn't like no slip and why?

Check out the thread below. You might want to prepare 'self-service' no slip set. And make some samples so the customers can decide if they need no-slip.

I would do a no-slip section. I'm planning to do no slip on snap clips, alligator clips and the itty bitty clips on the "infant" section of my booth where I plan to have the nylon and crochet headbands. Then just the regular partially lined clippies.

It looks like speciality section or line on request is the way I am going to go. I am glad about that though- I didn't want to have to redo all the clippies! (pull them out and glue the strips in there)

I forgot to update on this. Not a single person asked for the no slip material. There were a few babies that tryed on bows with about 15 hairs- lol and the bows stayed. Their moms were happy! with the 2 prong alligator clips.
