so i putting some baby clothes in a consignment sale next weekend. i also bought a booth to sell my bows at. but thought about putting some in the sale too. i emailed the lady running the sale and she said that since i am a vendor, if i have a table top display-she will set it up for me instead of throwing all my bows in the boxes w/ the others! but what should i use? i have one of those table top wreath holders and thought about getting an open back frame and adding a few strips of ribbon from top to bottom to put my bows on--but the only thing is that i need them on my bow cards and i need to be able to put a tag on them--so now i dont know. maybe i could clothes pin my cards on to the ribbon--do you think that will hold? any ideas would be GREAT!!! thanks girls!

My only thought is safety pinning to the ribbon might leave holes. What about framing some pegboard so you can hang your cards with your bows attached? then your prices are attached to every bow. Does that make any sense? you can prop the frame with an easel. I don't know just an idea. hth

I did the same thing two weeks ago and it was very last minute, so this may not be the best idea, but it worked. I got a a corrugated plastic board from my husband who ownes a sign shop. I taped a 3x5 card to one side of my bow card (for the sale). I then taped and glued ribbon from the board and attached my bows to the ribbon from the side that I had not taped the 3x5 card to. Does this make any sense? I am soooo bad at describing anything!

I then taped the board to the wall, it just happened to be right by the checkout line, so as every one stood in line they looked at the bows. I think for the amount of bows I put in I was pleased with the outcome.

Hobby Lobby has these canvas boards and they come in different sizes....some are rather large. You can cover these with fabric, add your ribbon in strips to hang your bows on. Another idea if you want to hang your bows on the bow cards you can buy some plywood paint it and put those little screw hooks in them....you can probably just hang one bow card on one hook but you can always replace when one sales. Prop it up with an easel.

I have never done any displays but thought i'd put my two cents in lol.

At the craft show I did, I used some lattice pieces on top of my table. I hung hooks on the lattice and punched holes in my bow cards and hung them on the hooks. I didn't have enough hooks though so I taped some of my bow cards to the lattice. I did the tape as my last resort, I will have enough hooks for my next show.
Here is a pic of it, I don't know if this helps or not.

Hi,
I was in my local Dollar General store yesterday. They had the ribbon memo boards for $6, so no buying supplies to make your one. I think you could slip the cards behind the ribbon and they would hold.

If you have bow boards already, maybe you could find some recipe book holders. Plate holders might not be sturdy enough. That way they go verticle.
