When making bows for a craft show.

Should I make tons of solid colors? Like 20 pink, 20 black, 20 blue and so on. Or do you just make a few of everything? Meaning solid one color, some stacked bows & fancy bows. You get the picture.

I have a three day festival in April and it will be my first ever.

I'm trying to look at some of your photos to get an idea of what to do. However, I know most of these are for one day events. I need enough bows for three days of selling.

Thanks girls!!!

I feel your pain. I'm trying to prepare for 2 shows - one coming up early March & one mid-May. I want to make lots of boutique fancy bows - multiple layers & things. Its taking so long for them though. The simpler one color ones shouldn't take nearly as long. So I'm struggling......how many of the fancy/smanchy ones should I make?

I didn't answer your question, I know. Just wanted to let you know you aren't alone in things like this.

Oh my gosh, I'm TOTALLY in the same boat as you all. My show is 17 days away!!!!

Simple bows do better where I'm at, so I'm doing alot of polka dot, and solid colors. Basically, I have the most of pinks, white, brown, (combo of those colors) and then red, greens, blues, purples, etc. I'm part of a moms group, so I asked what they thought.

I'm just making as many as I possibly can. Which doesn't seem like enough right now. Time is limited, and I have my daughter to take care of. We'll see how it ends up. Plus, I'm having grahics printed and I'm HOPING that they make it in time. Supposedly they will... but you never know!

Try to make a few of everything. but I would also make a lot of spring/summer colors as well seeing that its a spring show.

Thanks for the replies as well. It helps to hear what other folks have done in the past & what has worked (or not worked) for them!
