~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So, I have many of my bows and clip sets on bow cards so those are easy to tag (put prices and vendor number). What about the items that I have a ton of like headbands and hats? I was thinking of printing the price and vendor number on a return address shipping label and somehow tying that onto the items. Any ideas? I am way behind. It is this Friday and Saturday and I have a LOT of work to do for it! Any help would be great.
I just started using loop fastners (like cable ties)
they are really quick and easy to use. I also purchased a tagging gun for $15 The problem I had with using address labels is they sometimes don't stick OR dishonest customers will remove the label and place a lower price on your product. HTH |
I have a tagging gun. I bought it off of ebay. It's not bad was pretty inexpensive. also comes in handy for pony o's and getting them to stay on a card.
I would think that it will definitely be worth the effort. We have our name and website on all our bows and items we sell. Its great because then everyone that purchases has our contact information so they can easily order more and we don't have to remember to put our business card in the bag too. Sometimes to make it even easier, we have punched a hole in our business card and tied it around the item for sale with a nice piece of cheap ribbon. Then you can write the price on the back of the business card!
I have so many items that I just use a pricing gun. I got it from Office Depot and it was like 80 bucks or so. It's invaluable! I blow through those rolls of 1,000 tags too. In fact, I need to buy more for this weekend.
The drawback to a pricing gun is that it's more commercial looking. It doesn't look as special as tags that are tied on. The positive is that you can price a whole lot of items very quickly. You could literally put a price tag on an item once per second or two.
