~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am doing one this Saturday from 9am to 1pm at a local school. They are having breakfast with Santa at the event. I have never done a 4 hour craft fair and I was wondering for anyone who has how well they did?
Thanks Heather |
I have done two. Both at my daughters school. One was the fall festival and the other the book fair with neighborhood vendors. They were both 5pm-8pm. The fall festival I made $700 and the book fair which was not as well attended $250. So worth my time. I live in a neighborhood where a lot of people have expendable incomes though. Hope that helps.
Being that this is a breakfast with Santa, you know there will be kids there...you might be able to market those little girls needing accessories before their picture with Santa?! I did one and made probably 75-80, but that is 'good' for my area. I have yet to make $100 at one show. I'm still clueless as to what I'm doing wrong! Perhaps the audience just isn't looking for handmade hair bows!
I'd say do it--if anything, you'll get your name/face out there and people will remember you for future orders (hopefully). Maybe you could also make bows in the school colors. Just a thought. Amy |
I had to cancel doing Friday because my son is sick with a temp of 102 but I am still doing it on Sat. from 9 to 2:30 (it was 9 to 12 but they extended the hours) Where is the one your doing? mines at a priv school near memorial and eldridge
