Well I've been talking about it for months now, and I finally had my first craft fair today. It went really well I think. I made about $700 after booth fee of $60. It was from 9-4 today, and from 9-1 it was soooooo crowded that people could barely walk around. I was surprised at what sold and what didn't. I almost sold out on the flower clips I made (I only had 12 of them), the korker ponytail streamers (about 12 also), and the butterfly bug clips went like crazy. (I sold 25 out of the 30 I made). Things that didn't sell well that I thought would were the woven headbands, and just regular little clippies and embellished clippies. I only sold 2 small bow holders, none of the bow boards I made. I sold around 5 of my ribbon tee sets, plus 2 custom orders for some, and two full outfits pants/skirts. OOH and also surprising to me I had a bunch of crocheted headbands that I bought from accessories palace just in a basket for $1.50 each, and I sold about 100 of them! Here are a few pictures of my booth. I was at first planning on doing a 10x10 space, but they ended up only giving 8x6 spaces so things aren't quite how I would have liked. It was a little too crowded at times and I think that made people just walk on by. Overall, it was a great experience and I'll definitely do more.
