Haven't done a show yet, however I would find out what priority shipping is (the post office has a few different size boxes and can tell you the what the rates are) I think the one I have most used for Ebay is about 4.80 and first class regular mail is usually about 20 cents cheaper. I usually just go ahead and do priority.

I offer free shipping for orders over $25. It usually means a bigger sale 9 times out of 10. I also have a binder to keep the order forms I designed and receipt book. I give the customer a copy of their order with estimated time that also has my info (I use a stamp) and hand them a business card too. I usually give myself 2 weeks. 7-10 business days.
If someone orders something little, clippies, headbands I can mail in envelopes pretty inexpensively. I have boxes from uline that I pretty much know how much I can fit and an order that's under $25 won't be more than 2-3 shipping first class parcel. HTH! |
