I just completed my first craft show last week. It was a small show at the senior center, $7 for a spot, and I would say at most, 30 people walked through it during the 3 hours, but I still sold $100 worth of items so I considered it a success. It was great practice for me since I am doing a huge show in early December and I was actually recruited to do a 2-day show at the local elementary school.
The thing that I did not think about was WIND! In Southern Cal we had those horrible winds last week that spread those fires and I didn't think about Mother Nature wrecking havoc on my displays. All my table top spinning racks blew over and fortunately my DH had stuck a roll of duct tape in my supplies. What a huge help that was! So for all of you gearing up for your shows, don't forget the duct tape!

Your hubby sounds like a Marine. Mine uses his green tape EVERYWHERE.
