My Festival this past weekend

I had my "huge" festival this past weekend that was supposed to see 200,000 people.. HA! I would guess about 10,000-15,000 came through. But I did ok. Not as well as I wanted. I sold right at $1500 and have tons of stock left for a show I got invited to in December. I was really excited though cause this was only my 3rd festival to do in the past year and I had 3 people come up to me telling me that had tried to find me in at various times within the past year to sell my bow sin their booths at other shows!!
I also got invited to a total of 4 other shows, but as baby boy Gevin is due Jan 2nd, I am picking one and doing it. It is a "bow community" the people said and they really impressed me. They said it is a small town show, but that people come from all over La to attend. I am excited about it!

This was also hte first show that I didn't do the buy 3 get one free at, and I am proud of that. I don't like "giving" my stuff away!! I did have more people than ever almost throw my bows back on the table after seeing my prices and I had alot of people ask where my $1 bows are (HA!!!!). There were 3 other booths selling bows, 2 were mainly purse/jewelry booths but one only had bows. I thought it was funny cause people commented on how she was "making" her bows while she was there. They were so obviously wholesale though!!!!!! I didn't feel bad. I know my inventory will eventually sell as it is quality and my time away from my daughter is more valuable than $1 for a bow!!!

Congrats! I know you must be exhausted. I had a smaller show with 1000 people and I sold $440. It was my first and I enjoyed it. I have a ton of stuff left, and while I hate that, but at least I'm not under pressure to make a bunch more stuff - just to sell it.

Congrats! I hope I do almost half that good at mine this weekend! Doubt it though! Mine is just 40 vendors but in a bigger city than my town is so maybe I'll do ok!

congrats!! That is an awesome show!! And I am glad you weren't giving your product away too! If you do a sale like that again do it in the slow times and do the bakers dozen (buy 12 get one free) that makes it more worth the time!

Where are the shows located and I can tell you if I have been to it. My Best friends Mom/Dad has been doing shows since we were babies and I have been to most of them with them. Pm if you do not want to share this info on the thread and I will get you the reviews you need.
