no slip for shows

Do you go ahead and apply no-slip grip to all of your bitty bows for shows? If so, what do you use - the shelf liner or velvet ribbon? If the shelf liner - do you just glue it in? I have not offered this before and haven't had a problem - but this is my first Big show and I know someone is gonna want it and I want to be prepared. Thanks!

a few mins ago i just bought these Etsy :: littlelesiw :: Grip Strips for Clips i am not going to apply it to my clippies cause i don't know if people will want it or not, so i am going to make a sign at my show offering no slip grip for hair clippies. that way they can add it to their clips or not. i know most people use shelf liner and velvet. i personally dont like the no slip grip for my daughter cause i cant put the clips in her hair when i have it up in pony tails. so everyone has their own personal prefrence.

I use to use shelf liner, and I apply it to all my clippies. But now I use duck carpet tape. I had them pre cut, and then I added them at the show. They have an adhesive, so you just peel off thepaper and stick it to the clip.
It was a good selling point. People would say... she doesn't have enough hair.. and I would say.. oh.. these will hold on a single strand of hair.. b/c it does... and that sold it.

I just use the shelf liner and it is great. People just love it we must have a lot of thin hair around here.
