Prizes at Craft Show?

Do any of you make prizes to give away at craft shows so you can get names of new customers? I was thinking about raffling off a bow bouquet. I would have people put their names and contact information in a bowl and at the end of the day I would draw a name. Then I could send out emails to people about new products or bow parties.

Make sure the show will allow it - some will but others, esp. ones that are having silent auctions/raffles may frown upon it. It's a good idea - I have a book where people can sign up for newsletters and I have a sign stating that their info is not shared/sold.

Good suggestions. Maybe I can have a seperate signup sheet for email addresses.

I've thought about doing this but haven't. Just make sure that you specify on the form that you will be sending emails to them so it's not considered spam.

Maybe you could give a free ticket if they spend over a certain amount.
