Tent questions. . .

What kind(brand) of tent do you have and how much did you spend on it?

Do you have walls? Did you buy them separately or w/ your tent?

Does your tent 'have' to be white? I saw a pink EZ up that I like, but wouldn't want to be 'denied' a show, b/c it was pink, lol. . .

Also, I saw this. . .$99 w/ walls, would this type of tent work? Pros/cons?

*Also, a little vent. Didn't want to make a whole thread about it, but I was supposed to have my first show last Sat. and we've been having a drought, but it decided to rain allll night, and I figured it had to stop soon. I was up at 5:30am packing the car- after having busted my butt for weeks working on stuff. . .and then the wind started gusting!! My dad was gonna go w/ me and he called and said it was a no-go. I was all for it! It was a rain or shine thing. . .but my tent is a cheapie right now w/ no walls, and inventory would have gotten soaked. Sooo just had to throw that out there, I was so bummed! Anyway, my next aka first show will be Nov. 29th, and I WILL be prepared wind or rain! Haha. . .thanks for listening!!

That is a smokin' deal for that tent!!! If I didn't already have a tent I would buy that. That only thing I don't like about it is the windows to look in. I like being able to close my tent off so you can see inside it at night when I do shows that are more than one day. Besides that it's REALLY a fantastic buy. I'd go for it!!

it really depends on the show... some shows dont give a rip whether you even have a tent or not and others recommend it and others still tell you that you have to be white...

generally the ones that say every tent has to be white are usually larger festival typle shows... they want that uniformed professional setting... thus white

that is a great tent tho in white... I can see making faux drapes to provide "security" when you do 2-3 day events ... plus if you left it down in the winter ppl could still look in if its a outside show.

That sounds like a good deal on the tent, but check out the return policy before you order it. I did an outdoor show a couple of weeks ago, I returned my tent to academy because the seems were splitting so I am now on the hunt for a new tent, but the booth next to me had a tent that looked like this one, the windows are really cute and gives it a "boutique" look ( I don't know for sure if it is the same or not) but they had ordered theirs online and when they set it up the walls did not fit right. Just check it out before you order.

I think that tent looks great!!

If you didn't want the windows to be "open for people to look inside, here's an idea:

Do some enlarged prints of clouds and bright blue skies. Hang it from the inside over hte window hole, and put cute drapes around it on the inside of your tent!! TA DA! Problem fixed!
