I know what you mean. As a shopper, I want the vendor to acknowledge me and let me know that if I need any help, they'll be happy to assist. If it is a slow show, I would expect them to be doing something because otherwise they'd be bored out of their minds! I know I would be! Then there are shows that have demonstrations, too. But I don't think we'd be doing that part, lol!
One has to play it by ear with these things.

WOW! I would probably back out of that show.

All of the shows I have done so far limit the amount of a certain product. Like 2-3 tables of the same thing.
