Coast Guard Festival is Finally Over

Hey guys! I missed a ton of posts because I was gone for a two day show in a beach town nearby.

I had my mom with me, and she told me that Princess Babies came by! (Joan). Sorry I missed you! Of course, you come by when I run out to get my much needed Diet Coke!

We ended up doing rather well, despite me being completely disorganized and totally brain dead. I forgot a whole tote full of stuff the first day, so I was lucky that I was able to bring it the second day and sold it. I got a smaller spot because I called after their deadline, and when I got there, the "spot" was non-existent and had a park bench and a screwed down trash can right in front of it! I went and talked to the director and she was able to put us in a spot right on the outside of the big circle of vendors, and it ended up being perfect. We had great "neighbors" and we were in the shade so we weren't burning hot all day. I ended up making about $600 each day, for a total of about $1200 gross. I paid $165 for the spot.

I am excited because I can now afford to get an embroidery machine and some more display racks for my upcoming craft shows. I also get to give my DH a big "Ha-Ha" since, while he allows me to do this financially, he never thought that I would actually do well and that I would quit. (He doesn't say this out loud, but you can tell that is how he thinks).
