Hip Girls Craft Show Disaster!

Ok gonna show and tell.......

first day it was only from six to nine.... sold three













Then on sat the set up was even better cause I had the whole space by myself! Everything was spread out and we got a sale in the first 10 mins!

DUN DUN DUUUUUN~
Then it hit, the wind the pooring rain! Everything went flying! Displays got broken bows got wet, I tried to get everything up and covered as fast as possiable. The funny thing was my bows were on a floor rack on the OUTSIDE of the tent! omg all my cards are ruined!

future tip: spinning racks, event the ones with the weighted bottoms will blow away!



the tent next to us lost everything! even the tent!


thunder and lightning! everyone under the big metal tent~ omg! duh!


so some cards got bent, my mom and my kids and myself got soaked, some of my displays can not be saved, but NO ONES BOWS GOT RUINED! thank god!
So it is what it is, kinda comical lol.
Oh and I left the best part out, we borrowed an ezup tent from my moms friend for that day, and when the disaster hit i desided to pack everything up I was done! Then the rain stopped and we had to take the tent down, and when it was all folded and we went to put it in the bag.......... THERE WERE F***ING SIDES!!!!!! to the tent in the F***ING bag!!!!!!!!!!
My mom, the girls, and I laughed so hard we almost peed!

I just wanted to say you did a great job setting everything up!! It looked great!!! Oh, and sorry for my ugly bow cards. My DH finally got around to making them the night before I shipped them and he would NOT listen to what I wanted. MEN!

Awwwww----sorry to hear about the weather! That is one thing in this world we all have no control over!! Your booth is beautiful!!! I wish some of my goodies would have made it to the rain date! LOL! Everything looked sooo good! Great job to everyone! Leatrice-you have a lot left over so you need to pick a new date to try again!

They are better than my hand written headband cards.... Did not have cards ready and out of printer ink when mailing.... The collection was great though...nice selection of bow/clip types. Too bad shoppers could not enjoy.

Ya, except he put the darn logo right in the middle of the card!! I was like, and where am I supposed to put the clip?? He got this shocked look on his face like he never thought of that. DUH! I would like to know what he thought a bow card was for. Oh, and he cut them all with his pocket knife. It's the little details that matter

Wow...that sucks about the rain, but that's one thing you can almost always count on with a craft show...

Know what, the leftover bows could be passed to the next craft show goer...just passed around, not sure if anyone would like that, but it would be kinda neat to have a Hip Girls display at craft shows all over. Just keep passing it around ya know? not sure if that makes sense. Anyway, it's already been a bad day here and still have to finish up, so gotta go.
