~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My dd want to be a cat this year and I am having a hard time finding one that isn't slutty looking in her size. I am looking for one that may be plush or have long sleeves and pants as it is cold trick or treating in Chicago. If anyone has one they want to sell please pm me.
That's what I did for my son one year. He didn't want to dress up so I just bought a kit that had ears and a tail. I stitched the tail to black sweats and ended up making ears out of black craft foam and stitched them to the hood of a black hoodie. Then I drew whiskers and a nose on his face. I should have put a "collar" on him but he was anti dress up so I made it as plain as I could.
heres a link, check it out
Cat Costume you could possibly do instead of the black sweat pants do tights with a black and white tutu if you know how to do them....and attach the tail to the top some how..that would be cute and the ears can be s uper simple,, i made mickey ears last year for the cheer dance...what i did was got those hard plastic headbands from the dollar store. spray painted black...then cut my half circles from foam, glued to headband and whoila....in this case you'd cute black triangles with possibly white or tan and to make it more girly you could add a choker with some bling on it to wear around her neck.
Ok, so I bought this as the base of our costume since we would have to buy sweats and a hoodie anyway. I am thinking of adding white fur trim on the sleeves and ankles and a tail. I will need to make ears out of a hea
band. Would you add a tutu also? Black Velvet Unitard Leotard Halloween Cat Costume 4-6 - eBay (item 160233258609 end time Sep-12-08 12:32:47 PDT)
i think it wouild be extra cute with the tutu but if you decided not to do that then with just the fur trim should also give it a great girly cute look...
