Thanks!!

ohhh thats easy...
  1. trace the concrete forms circle on a piece of plywood (I would use 1/2 inch or larger). this will give it some weight and stability.
  2. cut the circle out to the inside edge so it is smaller than the outer diameter of the tube doesnt have to be perfect. but it does have to be smaller than the outer edge of the cut circle so it can fit inside the tube
  3. cut a square/circle whatever shape you like that is larger than the tube to act as your base.
  4. screw the smaller circle to your base in the center. use 2-4 screws to be secure.
  5. paint appropriate color. let dry
  6. place your finished tube (all wrapped and covered)over the smaller circle.
  7. Screw the form onto the the smaller circle.dont try to screw the screws horizontally(too hard to do) screw them at a 45 degree angle downward...you have the inner circle as well as your base now the form is secured to the base
  8. to finish the bottom so it looks nice use use ribbon the same way you finished the middle seem by wrapping it around the base to cover the screws. hot glue as needed.

I totally get it, I think you did a wonderful job explaining it. I think that would look really cute. You could make something like that for lots of uses.

I'm even thinking that you might be able to get one of those forms that are used at the tops and bottoms of columns for a base at the bottom. You would just have to buy one of those a little bigger than the concrete form to allow for the batting and material, plus it would look wonderful. You wouldn't have to worry about it falling down then.

Well now, I'm becoming a fortune teller......I see a trip to Lowe's in my future!

If you made the displays short enough you could also make use of the top part to display items such as wands (if you make them). You could do something as easy as finding a pail or small metal (or plastic) trash can that you could slip into the top without it falling all of the way in. You could always paint it to match if you wanted. You could also make some type of shelf on the inside to hold it up if you couldn't find something the right size. That would be really cute though to have the tutus on the sides and the wands in the top.

I hope you don't mind me adding to your idea.
