ooh, I want one! I have never heard of that before. How do they work? You can just draw on them with chalk?

I used bias tape on the edges and have never made them any other way. It just makes a nice finish. I also round all the corner because the bias tape goes on so much nicer that way. Square corners just never seem to come out neat.
To use them the kids just write on them with regular chalk!!! You wipe it off with a napkin or damp cloth!
I'm telling you, the kids, and moms, love them.
It's kinda fun to be somewhere and see a little one using one and knowing that they bought it from me. Sometimes I will comment on them and I am always told how much they love them.
A little hint about ordering the chalk fabric, I always request that they send it to me on a roll!!! When they fold this stuff up and send it, it is almost impossible to get the crease marks out! It's not like you can iron the stuff cause it will melt!

Oh those are simply adorable. We have a huge chalkboard in the playroom for my kids that we used the chalk paint to make. My daughter might like the portable mat, so I'll keep you in mind
