I looked and looked for cute fabric- ended up getting black. *sigh* LOL I do have a whole closet full of fabric.. maybe I have something in there. Time to drag the sewing machine out!

I've found that the prints I'm partial to for myself are usually Michael Miller prints. I loooove the "dandy damask" design!

I cheated last night. I made the apron (hubby says it looks professional - I blushed..said.. ohhh you're just saying that..lol)

So it's black fabric, and then I attached red 3/8 grosgrain for the tieback. I think I will add some ladybug ribbons or something to the front

Are you serious!??!! Are you really from Italy or have an Italian background. My husband spent some time growing up in Itlay and I would love to cook some authentic Italian food. Everyone says "authentic" but it always has an American twist. Can I get some receipes? PLEASE???

Your hubby is lucky!! I was only blessed enough to visit a couple of times for a few weeks. I am of Italian Descent and I learned from my Grandma and my mother who learned from her!!! Let me write a few up for you and I'll send them your way!! The meatballs are always fantastic and my little sis can make them to die for... so I will get her two cents too!! If you want a basic pasta sauce I can send that,and then I have a couple of other recipes that are staples in our house!!

1st must admitted--i didnt read all the post nor look at the pics--but what i did was:

i bought a black canvas apron at HL and made a hotfix iron on w/ cyrstal that has my name on it! the apron was like $6 maybe--and you know they run the canvas on sell every few weeks or just use a coupon!

how many times a day do I hear.. where's a pencil? Mine broke! Mine needs sharpened! mom he stole my pencil! I had the red one! OY!

Maybe I should make one to wear in my classroom. Do you know that even my 8th and 9th graders steal each other's pencils like that!! UGH!
