Default Tu Tu Bow Holder

Ok guys. I went over a friends house tonight who has little girls. I noticed a hanger hanging on the bathroom door (the kind that they put t-shirts on that look like the tu tu holder ) I asked my friend if I could have it. I thought why could I not tape cardboard to the frame then wrap that with fabric and make the tu tu for the bottom. Would this not work and be much much cheaper than foamboard. Not to mention easier. Since you only have to cut the shape once (for the fabric instead of both fabric and foam board.)

What do you think? I'll post pics when I finish it. It might be a while. LOL!!

That is a clever idea. I *think* I know what you're describing. I'm interested to see how yours turns out and I think I know what I'm gonna do today.

I use foam board, it is thicker and I use 2 forms to make one holder. It holds up much better, cardboard will bend after alttile while. I have not had any trouble with using foamboard. HTH

I buy foamboard at the dollar store and can get 8 bodices out of it. Glued together that is 4 bodices so it's not to spendy to make them out of foamboard.

if i didnt know how to make them and if i had a girl to use one on lol i would not buy one out of cardboard that is way to flimsy .........foam board is not expensive you can even get it at hobby lobby really cheap when it goes on sale

I agree..the cardboard unfortunately is way too flimsy..I don't think it would hold its shape very long and you will of wasted all your supplies to make it..

I've tried using cardboard and almost immediately it bent. Foamboard is TONS better!
