Cutting tulle for tu-tu's

I'm not sure if this counts as a clever idea, but it definitely made cutting the tulle easier!

I needed 19" lengths of tulle, so I used the sticker from the roll of tulle to attach it to a cookie sheet that was about 20" long.

I then wrapped it around and around the cookie sheet.

Then I cut it off and had mostly even lengths of tulle. It sure beat measuring and cutting each one.

that is a good idea I bought tulle by the roll once and that was enough it took forever to cut and I now buy the tulle by the bolt so I don't have to run out everyday for 5 yards of this and that I cut mine with scissors and a rotary cutter and it takes me no longer than five minutes to cut enough for one tutu and that is doing two layers..anywho have fun making your tutus FASTER now

I've yet to make a tutu, but seeing all the pics throughout the messages makes me think I should give it a try. They are so so so beautiful!

Love the idea, I use my glass cutting board. It works great.
