~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Someone posted the idea of making your own bow maker by putting dowels or pencils in floral foam or styrofoam. Has anyone ever tried that? Do you think it would work, or should I just spring for the TOTTS bow maker? The website said that if you buy just the bowmaker there are no instructions. Is it hard to use?
Any feedback would be appreciated!!! Thanks! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
I did that years ago to make bows for someone's wedding or something. I think I put pencils in styrofoam. It worked ok for the first one, but then they wiggled around too much. I think I ended up buying a bowmaker at Value Village or something.
I like to use the bow maker for certain types of bows. I like making others by hand without the bow maker. So it just depends on what look you are going for. The bow maker is worth the money.
