It almost looks like the ribbon may be crimped together at the top, sorta like the key fob piece, but smaller and circular. MAybe

Not sure about the hardware, but it looks like they just attach each ribbon in the middle, like when you sew a korker.

Oh, nothing cryptic! All I meant was, if you go to the link, each color ribbon has a meaning: like peace and tranquility, etc. For me, I just like the way it looks, I didn't care what the "meaning" was behind it!

I found site before November and was going to buy some but then didn't. I also thought it would be nice for teens and up. Also girls love to put these things on their backpacks.
