Awesome ribbon iron!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I do lots of crafts that involve ribbon and have just begun to make bows. I was oohing and ahhing over this ribbon iron in a scrapbook catalog & telling dh that I just HAD to have it. He went wandering around the house and came back with a hair straightener (like a curling iron but flat?) that one of our kids got and never used. "Will this work?" he says.
It works GREAT! I can plug it in next to my glue gun and turn it on as needed to iron out a ribbon that has gotten wrinkled. PLUS, it works great for fixing hot glue goofs on my bows. I just clamp down on the ribbon and glue, it heats the glue and I can pull the ribbon off and fix mistakes quickly. I told dh he is "da MAN!" Just thought someone else out there might have one lying around and have a use for it.

Well! Gotta love it, good for dh for being helpful and for knowing what was laying around the house as far as grooming aids go, lol! Bless my dh's heart, he would have no idea!

OMG! Thanks so much for the tip-I never would have thought about that but I figured out the first time I tried to iron it that it didn't go so well with my regular iron! ha! I have 1-2 ribbons that are kinky so that would be perfect! I KNEW I kept my old flat iron for something!!!
