this patent pending thing has gotten entirely out of hand!!! I think now I might jump on the band wagon though and put a patent on baby butt wiping or something like that..

I agree!!! LOL I think the problem is that when someone sees PATENT PENDING on an item it scares them off. We stop making ours and it leaves it wide open for the other person. I agree - it is only PENDING!!! Does not mean it will ever go anywhere. It is just like these paci clips I used to make. I saw a "clip end" at Michael's and thought it would be a great idea for the paci clip. Well, low and behold so did someone else. Big deal, it's right there at Michael's, you half expect someone else to be using the same thing. She has a website with patent pending clip all over it and someone mentioned to me that it was illegal for me to be using the clip. My husband says the same as you all - PENDING.
